This song actually grew out of an extended mediation on the spirituality of buying a lottery ticket: a humorous story that I like to tell in full when I sing it. An earlier, faster tempo version is recorded on my "Storming the Castle" CD. This version can be found in the musical story on CD "How Paper and Ink Came Together and Survived to Sing About it."
